About the artist :
Melody Lu was a tombstone engraver before fully dedicating themselves to the observation and listening of ghosts. In their work, they study the relationship between objects and places through the lens of time that inevitably passes. Through a practice of sculpture and video, they attempt to perceive the precise moment when our world collapses: What happens when we experience that moment when something is about to disappear? How do we live with ghosts and things that remain?
