Bob Bicknell-Knight, We’ve Been Here Before
About the video:
We’ve Been Here Before is a CGI film exploring public and private space, forgotten histories, simulated worlds, and apocalyptic futures. It features digital replicas of real-life spaces recreated in architectural simulation software and eroded 3D models of contemporary technologies. The film examines GCHQ headquarters, responsible for digital surveillance in the UK and abroad; Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California; and Fisher Island, Miami, the wealthiest area in the US and among the first at risk from rising sea levels.
